“Y’all” is a perfectly fine plural and a part of my everyday vocabulary. You might get looked at funny if you say it outside of the South, but it’s fine; it’s still a legitimate word. ”Y’alls” would logically be the possessive form (though my spell check is telling me otherwise) but I don’t really hear it that often, personally, only rarely when someone’s saying something like “We’re going over to y’alls [meaning “your family’s”] house tonight.” My friends and I usually say “your,” but whatever.

Either way, this is still wrong. It should be “jobs,” not “job,” because you’re talking about multiple referees being fired.

And please stop spelling “the” as “tha.” It doesn’t make you look any cooler.

You should probably say “this movie showed me how to speak to my kids” or something similar, which sounds a lot better. The way it is now is incredibly awkward, not to mention flat-out wrong. Usually when saying something “inspired” you, it motivates you to do something or gives you a positive feeling; it doesn’t provide examples for action.

Also, I haven’t seen this movie yet (it’s on my list,) but I do know it’s directed by Quentin Tarantino, so I’m a little concerned about how it inspired you to speak to your future children.

One last thing: it’s Inglorious Basterds, not Bastards. Why Tarantino decided to misspell his movie’s title, I don’t really know, but he’s Quentin Tarantino so I guess they let him do whatever he wants.
